The radio show that Joe Dirt wanders onto is kind of like the Howard Stern show. It's a testament to how bad most TV is that I sometimes find myself watching Stern--to my own laziness too. I could always put in one of my tapes of boxing or "The Simpsons." On the other hand, Stern is pretty good sometimes, like when he had Marylyn Manson on while ago. That guy is such a hoot. He broke up with actress, Rose McGowan. He was disparaging her acting, making the "quote marks" sign so as to refer to it as "acting." He also doesn't think she's ever going to win an Oscar, although she's good at a certain type of acting, in certain films that that the big M feels are beneath him. I kept laughing because, who is saying these things? Winton Marsalis? Yo-Yo Ma? Paul McCartney? No, a total hack. And a washed up one at that. But he has abs-o-lute-ly no idea. I remember having another good laugh when Manson, talking about how his upcoming album--the last one, which flopped in every respect, would prove whether or not he was a genius, A genius. If Manson is actually Andy Kaufman, maybe so. It would be his funniest prank ever.
