Hooch: Ifin’ you say so.
Stubs: Hungover again?
Hooch: Gist git to-it!
Stubs: Todays pitchershow is called
Hooch: Holy Christ! Another “Jack” spy-guy? We got Jack Reacher, Jack Bauer over at the old TV show 24 Mission Impossible which had Ghost Protocol. All these writers graduate the same kindergarden?
Stubs: Calm down and have another jar of shine. This one starts out with Jackie boy as a member of the Ruling Class Wall Street Elite when he is chased around Manhattan by a Gov’ment SUV when he’s wanted to return to the fold.
Rather than jus’ text him, they chose to terrorize five square blocks of the city to pull him back in to be a errand boy for deputy CIA director Greer (an admiral when played by James Earl Jones, and a Muslim when played by Wendell Pierce in the past couple of series. Bad ticker has gone the way of the Koran, I guess).
The murky confused story has something to do with a plot to kill the woman CIA director so Greer can get the top job. Sorry lady.
Hooch: Yeah, I can just feature them MAGA senators vote to approve that one.
Stubs: The rest of the story has something to do with the reactivation of some death squad Greer started as response to 9/11.
Hooch: I though that was what ICE was for?
The whole confused mess ends in a high rise in Dubai when a helicopter mounted minigun expends about a thousand rounds in a attempt to kill the bad guy. And misses. Ryan shoots him and get named deputy CIA director. A big pay cut from his Wall Street job.
Hooch: I’m glad I was asleep through that one.
Stubs: They gave Ryan’s wife the boot but add a ruthless woman MI6 officer played by Sienna Miller who took time off her modeling career to play a woman with no ruth.
Hooch: We need to see more like her.
Stubs: Next time I’m thinkin’ about reviewing the latest pitchershow from the chairman on the Billionaire’s Bore’s Club, Discloser Day.
Hooch: I hear lots folks sleep through that ‘en.
