EDITOR’S NOTE: Since the original Top 10 list is over four years old, some things have changed. Things like some of these brave warriors have given up this dangerous folly. Have no fear, however, fresh troops are on the job, and here is an updated Top Ten List of the most outrageous YouTube Eating Channels. Enjoy.
YouTube. The Morphine Drip of the Internet. The Alpha and the Omega, the amazon dot com of anything and everything, you will find it there. I know that this list leaves off things like Epic Meal Time and other worthy dumpsters for the eyeballs, but too bad, it is what it is. It is just a list, and there are other worthy channels out there. Here are the Top Ten Most Outrageous YouTube Eating Channels. Watch…and be nauseated by what humans are capable of.
International Honorable Mention and Special Award of Excellence: Strictly Dumpling
Mike Chen could easily not only be on this list, but be #1 as well. I would be less than honest with myself if I didn’t acknowledge this glaring omission to my list. This guy has a Matt Stonie like appetite and travels all around the world for the best culinary experiences available to mankind. He does real pizza (like in Rome and Naples), but you won’t find a Wendy burger or a Whopper (EDIT: Well, maybe once) anywhere on his channel. He does, however, occasionally stray to international menus of McDonalds. His channel highlights Asian cuisine, but he loves it all and features the best food that the world has to offer. Check out Strictly Dumpling today
Naader is a for real life school teacher and an eating machine. He often appears on Wreckless Eating to show those sissy boys just how it is done. He is the doppelganger of Clint Eastwood, I kid you not. He is an eating Boss. Here he is demolishing 10 double cheeseburgers at Buffalo Wild Winds.
#9 Furious Pete Furious Pete is a well known bodybuilder and competitive eater. On the serious side, he has quite a story to tell about his long ago bout with an eating disorder and his more recent medical encounter with testicular cancer. Unfortunately the cancer returned and he lost his remaining testicle. He was open and public about his loss and Furious Pete is quite the man, in spite of his serious medical issues. Pete has been around a long time and has a huge following. Check out, subscribe and like his videos.
#8 Cult Moo Cult Moo, with Herr Pink, Guerro and Loafy, present one of the most diversified and entertaining shows on YouTube. They deep fry, they sausage, they eat from a can, drink and chug from bottles of exotic beer and bum wines, they do it all. They also do outrageous eating and drinking challenges for our pleasure. For pure entertainment of an eating channel, you will find it here with Cult Moo. These guys are just like family, even down to the cancer on Guerro’s noggin.
#7 Randy Santel Randy Santel is “very, very excited” about every single eating challenge and this former professional body builder turned professional eater travels the globe to take on every eating challenge imaginable. This guy not only beats the challenge almost every single time, but usually shatters the existing records as well. Food demolition is his specialty, from continent to continent he eats and eats. He has defeated over 661 eating challenges (as of 05/22/2019) in America and abroad, so Randy is serious about his business and is the proud owner of foodchallenges.com. The video below shows one of his rare losses, but look at all that food!
#6 Matt Stonie (Megatoad) was the #2 competitive eater in the world (2015), close behind his arch rival Joey (Jaws) Chestnut. You have to watch the videos to believe the incredible amount of food that this little trick can ingest in record time. He is amazing. Watch him on the video below demolish 5 huge Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and 8700 calories. Yeah, and that is just a sample of what this human landfill is capable of. Matt Stonie holds many competitive eating records and participates in the Nathan’s 4th of July hot dog challenge, where in 2014 he finished 2nd to Joey Chestnut, eating 56 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. We are not worthy. (EDIT: Matt Stonie won the challenge in 2015, upsetting Joey Chestnut by eating 62 hot dogs, but Chestnut again regained the crown in 2016 by eating an amazing 70 hot dogs)
#5 L.A. Beast The L.A. Beast has become a YouTube Rock Star with hundreds of thousands of subs. He is as fearless as he is confident and crazy, and his videos are among the most watchable of the genre. This guy has absolutely no regard for his body as he has ingested super hot peppers, set himself on fire, exposed himself to thousands of bees, you name it, he has done it. His kryptonite remains the Wasabi Cheetos Challenge, but someday he will do it. His landlord hates him, and rightfully so. L.A. Beast is a Beast.
#4 Wreckless Eating? What? You have to be kidding! Why aren’t they still #1? Matt and his crew are the biggest bunch of pussies on YouTube, but their sheer volume of hilarious shows puts them in the top 10. His cast of Idiots is without peer and no eating channel has more shows, more variety and more consistency (albeit sometimes tedious) than Wreckless Eating. Their Main Show used to be anticipated and watched by millions (well, hundreds) but Matt Zion has now restricted many videos to patreon customers only, so Wreckless is marked down for that. Chris Wreckless has turned into a total vagina and ruins every show he participates in. Seriously though, I cannot state enough how much effort Matt puts into his channel with its various sub-shows like CARBS, and other meaningless, but lovable videos that are pumped out like the Duggar babies. I don’t know how you do it, Matt, but you still deserve to be in the Top 10.So, here’s to you, *VOMIT ALERT*. Wreckless Eating is still one of the most outrageous shows on YouTube.
#3 Wayne Algenio Wayne Algenio is simply amazing. Not only can he put away massive quantities of food, Matt Stonie style, he can also ingest incredible amount of heat. He holds the Guinness World Record for most amount of Carolina Reapers eaten in one minute. TWENTY-TWO of those monsters. In most challenges, victims cannot eat even ONE. In one video he destroys 10 Burger King Whoppers in 18 minutes, 30 seconds. He is not satisfied with his time. Unreal. Because of his capacity to consume both massive quantities and superhots, he is one of the top competitive eaters in the world.
#2 Main Event Pong Main Event Pong is a newcomer to this list and is here because of the sheer audacity of its videos. Nuff is the fearless leader of this insanity, and he and his sidekick K.H. Shire will attempt any fiery challenge ever thrown down. Hot For Banshee cannot do the heat, but she is there for moral support as well. It doesn’t matter if it is battery acid or capsacin-infused polio vaccine, it is “challenge accepted” and in most cases, “challenge defeated”. Of course, Nuff and his cohorts are famous for their beer pong challenges and contests, and have taken the popular game to unimaginable levels of insanity.
And the #1 Outrageous Eating Channel is The Wolfe Pit Larry has developed The Wolf Pit into one of YouTube’s most enjoyable food channels. His delivery style is without peer and he is a first-rate pitmaster and cook as well. I mean, this guy makes his own Spam, how rad is that! He is most famous for episodes of What Are We Eating? evaluating frozen foods from his ‘Own Personal Adult Playground’, The Dollar Tree, where everything is only $1. He does this for ‘You, The People’ so we don’t have to subject ourselves to some items that are pretty disgusting. Larry is a genuine wit, a brutally honest food reviewer, and knock-it-dead entertaining in every video. Congratulations to The Wolfe Pit for not only breaking into the Top 10, but taking the top spot as well.
